Sodium Carbonate, or soda ash, is one of the ten highest volume minerals produced in North America. All of the soda ash in North America is produced out of Green River Basin in Wyoming. The material is used to lower the melting point of sand in glass manufacturing. The material is also used widely in detergents, including dishwasher, car wash, laundry, and other types of detergents. It can be used as a raw material (in the case of liquid detergents) or as a water softening agent in dry mixed.
Veckridge markets sodium carbonate in rail, bulk hopper trucks, super sacks, and 50 lb bags. Material is readily available out of our stock in Delaware and NJ.
