Our Story
Veckridge Chemical started in 1949 with a station wagon and a simple idea: dilute industrial-strength bleach into one-gallon bottles and sell them locally to businesses that needed reliable supply. What began as a scrappy operation grew into something bigger.
In 1964, we moved to Kearny, NJ and built our first warehouse. In 1981, the company passed to Ernest Veca's six grandchildren. Three brothers—Mark, Robert, and Thomas—built the business from $900K to over $60M today, never losing sight of what made us successful: treating every customer like a partner.
Today, we serve 600+ recurring customers across the continental US, Puerto Rico, and Canada. We've added tank trucks to our fleet for bulk delivery. We've modernized our operations. But when you call Veckridge, you still get a person who knows your business and cares about your success.
